About Snowdonia

Snowdonia is part of northwest Wales surrounding the massive Snowdonia National Park. The massive Snowdonia National Park is characterised by glacial landforms, a network of trails, over 100 lakes and the spectacular mountains including Wales’s highest mountain, Mount Snowdon whose summit is accessible via the park’s historic Snowdon Mountain Railway. At the summit of Mount Snowdon, the view stretches all the way across the Irish Sea to Ireland.
